During this construction stage, I made several improvements before producing the final version.

The original pattern for the men's sleeveless jacket included a separate collar. After further evaluation, I decided to remove the collar because the fabric shown here will instead be used as the inside facing of the jacket. This inner facing will also provide additional support and structure to the garment.

I also decided to modify the lower edge of the pattern. The original design featured a rounded hem, but I have recut the pattern with a straight bottom edge to create a cleaner, more structured finish.

The photographs below document these design changes, showing the revised prototype pattern together with the fabric that will be used for the inside of the men's sleeveless jacket.

These changes form part of the ongoing development process before the final pattern and garment construction are completed.
