Pieter Lategan | Sketch Book: Introduction — Silent Monumentalism as a Style and Discipline Welcome to Silent Monumentalism — my idea and working sketchbook. Is this still Silent Monumentalism?

Yes — because of where it lives. Silent Monumentalism does not require every space to be silent. It requires the final form to be silent. Your sketchbook is allowed to think. Your finished work is not allowed to talk. That’s discipline.
